Anna has over fifteen years of experience teaching music. She specializes in private lessons for guitar and voice for all ages and skill levels. Anna believes in building a strong foundation of basic musical skills through the study of songs. Students will develop the ability to play basic rhythms in time, read music notation, become focused listeners, and eventually be able to play along with the recordings of the songs that they love.
Anna also guides students through developing the following:
-Technique in various contemporary styles (rock, pop, blues, country, funk, and jazz)
- Learning music theory
-Reading music
-Songwriting/Improvisation
-Singing and playing simultaneously
For voice lessons, teaches the contemporary styles mentioned above.
Vocal study includes focus on the following:
-Breath Control
-Improving Vocal range and tone
-Vocal Care
-Phrasing and timing
-Expression and interpretation
-Performance coaching
Anna makes an effort to seek out performance opportunities for her students and holds a student recital at least once a year
